About me

A lifelong observer, Karina Geleynse (guh-len-zee) is successfully navigating life as a profoundly deaf person within a hearing world. Born that way and not expected to speak, Karina loves to encourage people with her ability to do just that. With an endless list of interests, including horses, reading, baking, homesteading, chickens, cattle, cats, dogs, traveling, silver, turquoise, sparkly things, writing, cooking, trying new things, going barefoot, and gardening, she has much to keep her busy. She currently lives in Central Alberta with her husband and four kids where they raise Aberdeen Angus cattle.
